BEHIND THE STORY with PHIL WHITMORE
“SEE NO EVIL”

Ah, yes, I remember this one.

It was originally to be a comic strip, originally written by Aaron Nicholas-Wood.

I adapted it, from memory, and I seem to have remembered all of the original cliff-hangers.

Yes, “See No Evil” is stupid, and nonsensical, but its also one of the most fun radio stories in the series’ canon.

Because it was originally conceived as a comic strip, it is very cartoony.

With big silly monsters coming out of every nook & cranny.

Like the Belching Maggot, that was erm… memorable (my favourite monster!)

Sia gets grabbed by the tendrils of the Sight-Seer, and Mr Custa immediately says “Yes, lets get out of here!”

It’d be more believable had Custa have said that after Brok gets captured a few seconds later (sorry Brok, Mr Custa prefers the company of Sia).

Also, Mitch Moody returns, explaining that he married the blob that had swallowed him whole.

He also bizarrely loses his voice for one episode, because… errrr??

Well, like I say, this one is a lot of fun.
